Well as usual, camp was the best and I didn’t want to settle back into “normal life”. But work on Monday sure kicked me back into gear. I always feel so different at camp – less caring, less scared, less to worry about and think about.
Matt (my big bro from Derby) came down for the weekend as well and I love this picture of the two of us just outside the UV party on Friday:
The weekend itself was based on a holiday theme and we had activities to do during the day as well as the drunken parties at night. I even did fencing! Which I have never done before, so a chance to jaba jaba someone with a pointy stick was too good to miss.
This week has been pretty busy so not much chance to update… now the sun’s out I wanna be out there *looks at the window* not in here. I can do that all winter and all night, we don’t see the blue sky enough so I have to make the most of it when it does make an appearance.
Off to see Bon Jovi tonight, what a busy month. Unfortunately Don couldnt make it, but I hope he has a semi-good day at least *hugs* O and he was pleased I wore that orange top above, at camp I do have more confidence to just go for it … everything always seems different at camp, that and there’s very few mirrors to catch a glimpse of how scary you look.
FOUR WEEKS ‘TIL ESSEX JAMBOREE!
